Where we've been
A decade of GOOD. We serve people and develop impactful partnership programs through organizations assisting marginalized people and communities. We are changing the narrative because we can all BeyGOOD.
BeyGOOD Formed
Mrs. Carter formed BeyGOOD to support people and programs worldwide, focused on various matters such as disaster relief, education, housing, personal and career development, mental health, and other global efforts.

BeyGOOD Teamed up with STATE Bags
BeyGOOD teamed up with STATE Bags to give back to thousands of children in underfunded communities on the east coast. The effort included STATE Bags’ signature high-energy, motivational bag drop rallies to provide over 2,000 students with new backpacks for the school year. Additional efforts included opening up the program to the public. All proceeds from STATE Bags purchases or donations made on STATE Bags’ official website were allocated to the 2014 Back-to-School campaign.

Haiti Humanitarian Mission
We traveled to Haiti to aid those affected by the catastrophic earthquake in 2010. Accompanied by a United Nations Humanitarian Rep Valerie Amos, Mrs. Carter visited the impacted communities and met with doctors and patients at a local hospital.

Flint Water Crisis
We presented the United Way of Genesee County with a check for over $82K in a continued effort to combat the Flint Water Crisis. Mrs. Carter announced earlier that the Formation World Tour would support relief efforts, so BeyHive could donate as they purchased tickets. This effort raised over $6M and was donated to those affected by the water crisis. Additional proceeds went to the Flint Health and Development Fund.

BeyGOOD Houston
We teamed up with Bread of Life, Greater Houston Community Foundation, and Texas Southern University to help displaced residents from the start of Hurricane Harvey's landfall. BeyGOOD's continued efforts included our contribution to the city's rebuilding process by identifying families in need, locating temporary housing solutions, and partnering with our friends and organizations to replace their losses.

Homecoming Scholars Award Program
Mrs. Carter and BeyGOOD activated the second scholarship merit program, Homecoming Scholars Award Program, for the 2018-2019 academic year. Its initial announcement was after Mrs. Carter's legendary first weekend Coachella performance. Homecoming is a homage that ties in educational excellence and celebrates the HBCU homecoming experience. Committees selected eight recipients from the colleges and universities.

BeyGOOD x Global Citizen South African Fellowship
BeyGOOD and Global Citizens partnered to create the Global Citizens Fellowship program in South Africa. The year-long program equipped 10 South African fellows with the necessary skills to thrive in the program and beyond. In addition, the fellowship aligned with Global Citizen's four pillars of activity (respectively): creative, campaigns, rewards, and marketing.
